AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

These Content and Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) govern your use of the Voizo platform, including the website https://www.voizo.app and the mobile application Voizo – Voice Chat Make Friends (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Voizo Connect Private Limited (“Voizo”, “we”, “us” and “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of India and having its registered office at Amaira Enterprises Syana, Petrol pump ke pichey, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh 203001, India.

These Guidelines must be read along with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Platform Policies”). By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Guidelines.

We may update these Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any updates.

OUR COMMUNITY

Voizo enables users to interact and engage with others through real-time communication features. Our community is diverse, and users may come from different backgrounds, languages, and expectations.

To ensure a safe, respectful, and trusted environment, all users are required to follow these Guidelines.

We encourage creative expression and open interaction; however, such expression must not come at the cost of user safety, trust, or dignity.

CONTENT GUIDELINES

We actively monitor and remove content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines or applicable laws. If such violations are identified, we may restrict content, suspend accounts, or take further action as necessary.

These Guidelines apply to all forms of interaction on the Platform, including but not limited to voice communication, profile content, usernames, and any other user-generated material.

a. Compliance with Applicable Laws

All activity on the Platform must comply with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.

You shall not engage in any activity or communication that threatens public order, national security, or violates any applicable law. Any content or behaviour that incites violence, unlawful activity, or disrupts public harmony is strictly prohibited.

b. Sexual Content and Exploitation

We do not permit content or behaviour that is sexually explicit, exploitative, or intended to solicit or promote sexual services.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Explicit sexual conversations intended for arousal or gratification
  • Solicitation of escort services or prostitution
  • Sexual harassment or non-consensual advances
  • Sharing or requesting sexually explicit content
  • Any conduct that exploits or endangers individuals

Content or behaviour involving minors in any sexual or suggestive manner is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action.

c. Harassment, Abuse, and Misconduct

We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, or abusive behaviour.

This includes:

  • Using abusive, threatening, or degrading language
  • Targeting individuals based on gender, caste, religion, ethnicity, or identity
  • Repeated unwanted contact or attempts to bypass user blocks
  • Blackmail, extortion, or intimidation

Users are expected to respect boundaries. If a user chooses not to engage, you must respect that decision.

d. Misrepresentation and Deceptive Behaviour

Users must not engage in deceptive or misleading behaviour.

This includes:

  • Impersonating another individual or misrepresenting identity
  • Misleading users regarding personal attributes or intent
  • Creating false expectations during interactions for personal gain
  • Using manipulated or synthetic content to deceive users

Any behaviour that undermines trust or misleads other users is prohibited.

e. Privacy and Personal Data

You must respect the privacy of others.

You shall not:

  • Share personal or sensitive information of another user without consent
  • Record, store, or distribute private interactions without permission
  • Threaten to expose personal information

Any violation of user privacy will be treated as a serious offence.

f. Violence, Hate Speech, and Harmful Content

Content or behaviour that promotes violence, hatred, or harm is prohibited.

This includes:

  • Threats of violence or encouragement of harm
  • Hate speech targeting individuals or groups
  • Promotion of extremist ideologies or organisations
  • Content that glorifies cruelty or suffering

We may allow contextual or educational discussion, provided it does not promote harm.

g. Illegal Activities

You shall not use the Platform to engage in or promote illegal activities.

This includes:

  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive financial practices
  • Gambling, money laundering, or illegal transactions
  • Sale or promotion of prohibited goods or services
  • Distribution of malicious software or harmful content

Any such activity may result in immediate suspension and reporting to authorities.

h. Spam and Platform Manipulation

You shall not engage in spam or manipulative behaviour.

This includes:

  • Repetitive or low-quality interactions intended to exploit the system
  • Artificially inflating engagement or activity
  • Sharing misleading links or malicious content
  • Using automation or bots to interact on the Platform

The Platform is designed for genuine interactions, and misuse will not be tolerated.

i. Self-Harm and Sensitive Content

We do not permit content or behaviour that promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or abuse.

However, we may allow content that seeks support, raises awareness, or shares experiences in a responsible manner.

j. Intellectual Property

Users must respect intellectual property rights.

You shall not share content that infringes upon the rights of others, including copyrighted material, without permission.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

In addition to the above, users are expected to follow these behavioural norms:

a. Respectful Interaction

You are expected to communicate respectfully and responsibly. Behaviour that creates discomfort, pressure, or unsafe experiences for others is not permitted.

b. Authentic Usage

The Platform is intended for genuine interactions. Users must not misuse features for exploitation, deception, or unfair advantage.

c. Safety First

If you encounter behaviour that makes you uncomfortable or unsafe, you are encouraged to report it. You may also choose to block users at your discretion.

d. Compliance Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your actions comply with applicable laws and these Guidelines. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from liability.

e. Enforcement Actions

We take violations seriously and may take appropriate action, including:

  • Removal of content
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Restriction from re-registration

Repeated or severe violations may result in stricter enforcement.

PLATFORM SAFETY AND REPORTING

If you come across any content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, you may report it through the in-app reporting mechanisms or contact us at:

We review reports and take action where necessary.

Not all content that you disagree with may violate these Guidelines. In such cases, you may choose to block or avoid such users.

INTERMEDIARY STATUS

Voizo acts as an intermediary under applicable Indian laws. We do not control user behaviour but reserve the right to take action where violations are identified.

Users are solely responsible for their interactions and content.

RIGHT TO APPEAL

If your content or account is subject to enforcement action, you may be notified and provided an opportunity to appeal, where applicable.

We may review such appeals and determine appropriate action at our discretion.

LEGAL CONSEQUENCES

Violation of these Guidelines may result not only in Platform action but also civil or criminal liability under applicable laws.

Users are advised to comply with all applicable regulations while using the Platform.

In addition to the above-mentioned actions that may be taken by us in case of non-compliance with our Guidelines, you may also incur personal, civil, and criminal liability from individuals /regulators/legal authorities for such violations. Please see below an illustrative and indicative list of the laws read in conjunction with Rules 3(1)(b) and 3(1)(ca) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and its amendments (“Intermediary Rules”), that may be attracted against you:

In addition to the enforcement actions mentioned in these Guidelines, we may also be required by law to report breach of certain applicable laws, including Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 to the appropriate authorities or cooperate with legal authorities and law enforcement mechanisms. Please be advised therefore that all such actions are at your own risk and consequence and that we are under no obligation to assist you.
